What I Do
Who I Can Help
Psychotherapy - Humanistic and Person-Centered
I provide in-depth counseling using an integrative approach, meaning that your therapy is uniquely tailored to you and your needs throughout your time with me. The main focus of psychotherapy is to build a strong relationship within the context of the therapy sessions so that you can explore the patterns, thoughts, circumstances, and emotions that impact our behavior and contribute to the dynamics of our relationships. Identifying the motivations to our behavior and the underlying worldviews will enable you to move through obstacles that have been holding you back and find a balanced approach to living.
I offer psychotherapy in Colorado Springs for the following:
Trauma: Sexual Assault/Childhood Sexual Abuse
Trauma: Domestic Violence
Traumatic Life Events (i.e. Car Accidents, Disasters, Loss)
Vicarious Trauma/Secondary Trauma in First Responders and Caregivers
Compassion Fatigue and Burnout
Self-Discovery and Exploration
Self-Esteem and Self-Improvement
Suicide and Self-Harm
Anger and Aggression
Oppositional Defiance in Teens/Young Adults
If you are struggling with something not listed here, give me a call at (719) 679-8012 to see if I am still the best fit as a therapist for you. If I am not, I will do my best to help you find someone who is.
